I love talking about and exploring the topic of love. One reason is because I haven’t always experienced healthy love. At times I thought I was receiving love, but I now understand that I wasn’t. My idea of love was confusing, and intimate relationships left me wondering if I am actually loved.

I feel blessed to say that I have experienced genuine, authentic, pure love outside of relationships.

I also know what it’s like to be in love with someone. But one of the most difficult experiences in love is accepting that the person you are in love with won’t be the person you will spend your life with.

However, what I do know is that authentic love isn’t based on possession.
